Many thanks to Suji Hwang for capturing and sharing this video! The Broadway Bridge in Portland, Oregon, US is one of the few surviving examples of the Rall-type bascule bridge. Such a bridge combines rolling lift with longitudinal motion on trunnions when opening, i.e. the leaves move both up and back. The Rall type bascule bridge was patented by Theodor Rall in 1901. Towards the end of the video, another moving bridge of the Willamette River can be seen - the Steel Bridge, a through-truss, double-deck vertical-lift bridge.
