This competitive 12-week (Saturday-only) virtual fellowship bridges the gap between classroom theory and international research in space weather and space environment. It is designed for undergraduate and early-graduate students in Physics, Math, CS, Statistics, Engineering and similar fields, with a 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂, and other underrepresented regions globally. 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑱𝒐𝒊𝒏 𝑩-𝑹𝑬𝑷 2026? 🌍 𝑮𝒍𝒐𝒃𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑: Learn from experts in the US, UK, Brazil, Norway, and India. 💪 𝑫𝒂𝒕𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒚: Hands-on diagnostics using GNSS, Ionosonde, NASA’s GOLD, ESA’s SWARM, and Geomagnetic datasets. 🤝 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆: Complete collaborative research projects in teams to mirror international mission standards. 🧐 𝑷𝒉𝑫 𝑷𝒊𝒑𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆: Build a GitHub-ready portfolio and earn technical letters of recommendation for funded international programs. 🧑🏫 𝑭𝒖𝒍𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑: The $100 fee is fully waived for all 30 accepted participants.
