I absolutely ADORE when my business world collides with my music world. That's exactly what happened with my client Suzy's latest single release "21st Century." This week, she was interviewed by the fantastic host, Phillip Lanos, of the Grit Daily News Podcast, The Startup Show. Phillip is an absolute gem and an avid fan of music + musician himself, so it was a great conversation between him and Suzy! Here's the even cooler thing!! My client Suzy... she's 69 years old and STILL ROCKING in her metal music ways, and for the past 7 weeks, her single "21st Century" has been charting on the Top 50 SMR Rock Charts, and hit number 21 this week, next to major artists like EVANESCENCE, SHINEDOWN, & PAPA ROACH! Suzy brings a lot of hope and positivity to her music, which I appreciate even as someone who doesn't gravitate towards metal music as my first choice. :) She consistently reinforces the message that "it's never too late to pursue your passions," and this podcast interview really highlights her heart for music and our world.
