Every “future of restaurants” piece I read leads with the technology. More and more I agree with Benny T.’s takeaway here: the best technology is invisible. It removes friction, automates the complexity, and gets out of the way. Not so the machine can run the restaurant… or anything for that matter... so the people can. That tracks with everything I believe about this business. Hospitality is a person who knows your name, remembers your order, and reads the room when you walk in tired. No platform or model does that. The technology that wins is the kind that hands those minutes back to your team instead of taking them away. We are pushing AI and connected platforms hard at Palmer Food Services and Palmer's Direct To You Market, not to replace the human part but to protect it. Every hour we automate out of a manual report is an hour someone spends with a customer or a cook. Powered by technology : Driven by people. Get that order backward and you have built a very efficient way to lose. Do you agree or disagree? #IndependentOnPurpose #FoodService https://lnkd.in/gZdijugx
