Day 1 at Silicon Reef - halfway through and loving it! ✨ I'm not going to lie, I had a proper case of the nerves this morning (first-day jitters and all that), but the team here has been lovely. Everyone I've met so far is genuinely talented and friendly - you can tell it's one of those places where people enjoy coming to work! As the new Account Director, I'm already getting started with some brilliant customers who are doing exciting things with their Microsoft 365. What I love about Silicon Reef is that they genuinely get that technology should work for people, not the other way around. I'm already feeling supported and can tell that I have a team that both my customers and I can trust. What Silicon Reef does is pretty clever stuff - everything from SharePoint intranets that don't make you want to cry, to using the full Microsoft ecosystem to create some amazing business tools. They're also at the forefront of Copilot and AI. But the best bit is they don't waffle on with tech speak - they explain things properly. Makes my life so much easier when I don't have to translate everything into normal human! 😂 Chuffed to bits to have landed somewhere that feels right from the get-go.
