We Fudd’d around, and we found out… What followed was the longest continuous Gecko appearance ever, plus some good times with “The People’s Princess” herself, Azzi Fudd. 🏀🎙️ This project once again shows us the real superpower of an iconic brand character —they go where WE go. The flexibility, and the dialogue with the audience..it all carries forward as new channels emerge. What makes this work so rewarding (besides Gecko being so dang adorable), is that their value only compounds as new tech unlocks new creative capability and interact-ability. The catch is that it always means change, and as creative technicians and artists, change is the job. You learn to become best friends with reinvention. That’s why we feel so lucky to work with people who know exactly where to push it, not just at Framestore, but with our partners as well. MARTIN* and GEICO keep delivering banger ideas that challenge us in the best possible way, and none of it works without their trust and support. This podcast is an outstanding blend of all that trust, combined with a screaming-cool initial concept, and a few generous helpings of 3D, AI, and raw human skills. Gecko’s record long performance was led and puppeteered by the legendary William Frazier , plus PJ Stegall , Quan Nguyen, Kamila Bianchi , Zach Silliman , Veronica Ferrari, Lincoln Wallen, Charles Howell and many more. I’m so proud of this team. This is just the start, and there’s so much more on the way. 🔮🦎💙
