I just spent a week in Amsterdam at Workato's EMEA Partner Advisory Board and partner kickoff. After thirty years in enterprise tech, nothing tells you more about where a market really is than a room full of partners. Not the slides. Not the press releases. The partners. Here's what I heard: → The #1 opportunity is still stack modernization. Before you can run AI agents, you need your infrastructure right. iPaaS is an $8.5B market growing to $17B+ by 2028 (Gartner). It's accelerating, not fading. → Partners are consistently replacing TIBCO, Boomi, and legacy middleware with Workato — not because those tools are broken, but because enterprises need integration, orchestration, AND agentic AI in one platform. → There's a narrative that AI will replace SaaS. I think it's exactly backwards. Your systems of record will become MORE important as AI agents consume them, interact with them, and make them more valuable. What changes is how your people access those systems — through agents, not six separate logins. → Every agent needs to communicate through an enterprise control plane — security, governance, observability. That's not optional. That's the architecture.
