Hockey Players in Business - Phoenix Chapter February 2020 - Member of the Month Spotlight Ken Bouthillier is a native of Peoria, AZ, growing up playing his youth hockey out of Oceanside Ice Arena. At 14 years old, Ken left Arizona to pursue his playing career. With stops at Shattuck St. Mary’s under the late JP Parise, the Soo Indians in Sault Ste. Marie, MI and Fairbanks, AK for the Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League. Ken’s playing career was cut short due to a severe back injury. Currently, Ken is the West Coast Scout for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs, as well as the President of their alumni association. Away from the rink, Ken has been in finance for 15yrs and is a Sr. Mortgage Banker with Define Mortgage Solutions, a subsidiary of Desert Financial Credit Union, the largest credit union in the state of Arizona. Ken’s primary focus is to provide ideal residential financing solutions for his clients, while working with some of the best Realtor partners in the state. Ken’s wife, Hillary also works in finance for Ameriprise Financial.
