Final-Year Medical Student at University of Oxford | Research in Neurosurgery

I am delighted to announce that I will be starting at UCL in September 2026, undertaking their Neurosurgery MRes programme. Having completed finals at medical school, I feel that this is the right time for me to take a year to really delve into my academic and clinical interests before tackling the Foundation Year programme. Importantly, this will allow me to develop invaluable research and surgical skills. A special thank you goes to Oxford’s Neurosurgery Department for providing such enriching clinical experiences and for involving me in various research endeavours. Thank you also to Oxford’s Hugh Cairns Surgical Society for their mentorship programme which enabled me to really develop my neurosurgical interests extracurricularly. I am incredibly excited to be starting at UCL, based at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and the Queen Square Institute.
