Positioning #Bremen as a gateway to Europe – in #Shanghai This week, our experts Lu Wang and Matthias Hempen 韩 鹏 joined the Overseas Investment Fair (OIF) in Shanghai – an platform for global investment dialogue, bringing together international organisations, companies, and investment agencies. Together with Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) and other German economic development partners, we contributed to the programme and positioned Bremen as an attractive investment location for international companies. A key highlight for us was our Bremeninvest-Office Director Lu Wang 王露 participating in the panel “Germany as your gateway to Europe: Regional and Sectoral Perspectives”, with the discussion on “Global Expansion of New Energy Enterprises”. These exchanges offered valuable insights into current trends in the energy transition and international expansion strategies – and highlighted the strong interest in Germany as a business destination. For Bremen, being present in Shanghai is an important step to strengthen our visibility in China, build new connections, and attract future-oriented companies to our region.
