We applaud U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen, Susan Collins, Raphael Warnock, and John Kennedy for introducing the bipartisan INSULIN Act of 2026. One of our foundational beliefs is that everyone should have access to the insulin they need to survive. Our community has been raising their voices on this issue for years, engaging with Congress, employers, health insurance companies, and drug manufacturers. The INSULIN Act builds upon recent progress by capping out-of-pocket costs, eliminating utilization management barriers, increasing transparency in the insulin market, and promoting generic and biosimilar competition. It also strengthens support for uninsured individuals through state pilot programs and a national insulin resource center.
