Circ® in our portfolio has announced plans to build its first industrial-scale textile recycling facility in France—a $500M plant that will process 70,000 metric tons of polycotton waste each year and create 200 jobs.   Polycotton makes up much of the global textile market, yet blended fabrics have long been one of the hardest materials to recycle. Circ’s technology separates polyester and cotton so both can be recovered and reused in existing manufacturing processes.   That creates advantage on multiple levels: new supply for brands, new industrial capacity for France, and a better path for an industry under pressure to reduce waste without sacrificing performance. https://lnkd.in/eys83hnZ
