Commonwealth Fusion Systems in our portfolio has laid the physics foundation for its ARC fusion power plant.   Five peer-reviewed papers validate key scientific assumptions behind ARC: how CFS plans to control plasma, manage disruptions, handle heat exhaust, and deliver 400 MW of continuous net electricity to the grid.   Fusion must clear a high bar: big claims, hard physics.
