Huge congratulations Breaking Barriers' first ever London Marathon runners! Hui Jiang and Paul Greaves not only completed Sunday's 26.2-mile challenge at a pace that made even us spectators feel exhausted! They've also jointly raised, with Gift Aid, a remarkable £4,848.47 to help refugees overcome the obstacles they face to meaningful employment. This phenomenal fundraising is a testament to the generosity of Hui and Paul's friends, families and colleagues. And also to the commitment our two brilliant runners, who trained with such dedication and enthusiasm through the depths of an interminable, wet winter! We were proud and honoured to be at the roadside, cheering at the top of our voices, and learning so much from our inaugural London Marathon experience. Including the importance of cable ties when you've got a 3-metre flag to support! Thank you to everyone who's been part of this new Breaking Barriers adventure.
