👟 Go Chris! 👟 Chris De Sousa is an Associate at longstanding Breaking Barriers partner, Linklaters. Chris recently moved to the UK. And, shortly afterwards, Breaking Barriers was offered the chance to take up last minute places in an iconic half marathon in the city where he now works. We’re delighted to say that – despite the short notice, and whilst still adjusting to such a big life change – Chris decided to take on the challenge! This Sunday, 12 April, Chris will run the London Landmarks Half Marathon Limited to help refugees receive vital employment and re-accreditation advice, English language support and workplace opportunities. His 13.1 mile run will raise funds and awareness to support people who’ve fled war, persecution and violence, as they strive to find meaningful work and build new lives in the UK. Chris says “I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause.
