🌟 Assembling pathways to work with IKEA 🌟 For forcibly displaced people building new lives, gaining that first work experience in the UK isn’t just about building a CV. It’s about confidence, independence and a sense of belonging. But landing that opportunity can be immensely challenging. That’s why we develop employment pathways with like-minded businesses. These practical programmes support our clients step by step, helping them to overcome barriers and access meaningful opportunities. And we’re so excited that, building on a partnership that began in 2017, we’ve teamed up with IKEA to deliver our latest Customer Services Employment Pathway in Manchester!  Retail is one of the top areas of interest for the people we support, and this programme is opening up new routes and real opportunities to enter a sector where they want to grow. As Alan Felstead, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Leader at IKEA UK & Ireland, puts it: “We firmly believe that access to opportunity should not be limited by circumstance… by working closely with expert partners, we’re helping refugees access meaningful employment while also strengthening our business through diverse perspectives and untapped talent.” We’re proud to be continuing this journey with IKEA, and excited to see what this next phase will bring for our clients in Manchester and beyond.
