We’re #recruiting! ☑️ Are you looking for a meaningful board role with an entrepreneurial charity? ☑️ Are you passionate about employability and refugee welfare? ☑️ Do you have experience as a senior leader or charity trustee? If so, Breaking Barriers would love to hear from you. To further strengthen our fantastic board, we’re looking to recruit two new trustees to help lead our mission to welcome refugees into meaningful employment. We’re looking for people to join our team who have: 👉 Experience of developing initiatives or programmes in relevant areas, such as employability or recruitment 👉 Experience working with and for refugee clients, and an interest in being supported to become the board’s safeguarding lead, or 👉 Income generation expertise that can help deliver our fundraising goals, to sustain our services and impact. We recognise the unique contribution lived experience brings to our governance and decision-making. So we particularly welcome trustee applications from people from a refugee background, or with first-hand experience of seeking sanctuary or forced migration to the UK. This is a voluntary role and includes both online and face to face activity (travel expenses paid). Applications are open until 9am on 22 June.
