This photo is that principle in motion. I’m proud to stand with two exceptional leaders. Noel Massie is a friend, mentor, and force multiplier. He rose to become Vice President of U.S. Delivery Operations at UPS, overseeing 200,000 employees and 12,000 supervisors. His book, Congrats on Being Promoted, is a handbook for anyone striving to get it right on their leadership journey. Sandra Yunjung Choi, COO of JHOG Construction, is a dynamic builder of businesses and people. I’ve had the privilege of coaching her through two entrepreneurship programs, and she is also a proud alumna of YourSuccessID®, my future-skills accelerator. Attending Noel's book signing and discussion, I valued the following takeaways: • People value what they help create • Every team has terms and conditions • Trust comes in many shades and colors What ties us all three of us together is a common belief that service, community, are important to strengthening people. Noel served as Chairman of the Board for the LA Urban League. Having worked for the United Way, Sandra became a board member of Faith and Community Empowerment. I also had the privilege of serving alongside Noel on the board of the LA Chamber of Commerce when his bold vision stood out during his tenure as its Chair.
