The operational discipline behind water efficiency doesn't get a lot of headlines. But it should. Our teams manage thousands of real-time sensors across every data center, monitoring water use continuously. We continue to raise the temperatures where we operate, allowing us to only use water for cooling about 10% of the year. That precision and innovation is how we achieved 0.12 L/kWh in 2025 — and DECREASED water use 2% across our owned and leased data centers while substantially growing capacity year over year. So yes we hear the call for releasing absolute numbers, they show that efficiency is key to scaling, take a look at the data for yourself. A few things to highlight many teams’ accomplishments this year: · 26 facilities running on reclaimed water, more than any other cloud provider · 244+ million gallons of reclaimed water used in 2025 · 50+ water replenishment projects globally · Countless hours with my team of water experts obsessing over every detail of how we use water in communities responsibly. Congrats to all the people that made this happen, plenty left to do as we continue delighting our customers and the communities we operate within, onward! https://lnkd.in/gbtb89_d
