Dear Valued Client, Following recent information received on the proposed nationwide strike on 30th June 2026, please note that we have proactively engaged with various stake-holders. As the safety and security of our staff, your cargo and our facilities and vehicles have the highest priority, please note that we have implemented the following to mitigate the potential risks: ALS will not facilitate and cargo receiving or dispatch from our warehouses, nationally on 30th June. On Monday, 29th June and in consultation with the local CPF, Security Companies and our own Security Advisors, ALS will make a decision on whether to open our warehouses on Tuesday, 30th June. We can also confirm that we have or are addressing the following: 1. Measures being implemented to protect people and assets. Additional security personnel have been employed for this day and any period that may prove risky following the proceedings on this day, Assessment of conditions and areas surrounding to determine the safety in travel of personnel to / from the facility, this extends to vehicle for deliveries also, 2. Security arrangements for our premises. Armed Security personnel will be on site and rapid response units on standby to support the site security if required, 3. Potential risks that may impact our ability to supply or distribute products. Safety risk as regards personnel in the facilities, Safety risk as regards personnel travelling to and from the facility, Disruptive behaviour or actions from protesters, Damage to infrastructure in the surrounding areas, road closures, blockage of roads, threats to personnel, including drivers and danger to vehicles posed by protest action / protesters, Lack of vehicles due to threats or disruptions by protesters, Whilst the events of the proposed strike action may be unpredictable, we will ensure to monitor the situation very closely and will communicate updates via our newsflash and other platforms.
