Another unforgettable winter with TGR — family, friends, and film. Photo by Tucker Adams (@tuckerscreative) This winter was one of the most meaningful I’ve had with Teton Gravity Research. Working with Todd and Steve over the years is a dream come true. I spent most of my time this winter in Jackson Hole and Canada filming with Kai Jones, Parkin Costain, John Jackson, Maggie Voisin, and McRae Williams — Insane Crew! Kai is the most energetic skier I know. He’s the now and the future. We snowmobiled into new zones, worked through every kind of weather, COLD AF. But that’s part of it. 3 down Jackets was the norm. That’s what it takes to capture those rare moments when the mountains open up and the sleds get unstuck. Later in the season, we filmed with Jeremy Jones and his kids, Cass and Mia, around Palisades Tahoe, my hometown. Jeremy revisited the iconic lines of his early career in Tahoe, bringing his kids along to ride some heavy zones. I filmed alongside the OG Mike Hatchett, a filmmaker who helped shape my career and snow films in general. Then came Alaska — five weeks with Nick McNutt, Parkin, Maggie, Colter Hinchliffe, Molly Armanino, and Kai flying with Pulse Line Heli. We had weeks of down days but it all came together in the end. Thanks to my wife, Jennifer Holmes, Shelly Jones, Nikki Spahn, Kainen Krueger, Tucker Adams, Johnny Seybold, Sebastian Glenn, Patrick Conroy and the TGR crew. OH, and to Cam Ryder Jones for repping Attitude By Holmes. TGR isn’t just a production company. It’s family.
