BPCL is helping bring the world of space science closer to young learners, with Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India, inaugurated 75 Space Labs established under its CSR initiative across 75 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs). The event was attended by D. Parthasarthy, ED (HRS), Rajesh Tikhe, DGM Finance (CSR), and Shivani Yadav, Assistant Executive, CSR. Implemented by BPCL in collaboration with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and developed under the technical guidance of ISRO-recognised Space Tutor agencies, the initiative is designed to bring experiential STEM learning closer to tribal students. The Space Labs will directly benefit nearly 50,000 students across 19 States and UTs, enabling them to explore emerging fields such as aerospace, astronomy, satellite technology, robotics, and space sciences. Highlighting the transformative power of scientific education, the Hon’ble President emphasised the need for more such laboratories to expand access to advanced learning opportunities for tribal students across the country. At BPCL, we believe that access to quality education and technology is fundamental to building an inclusive and future-ready India. Through initiatives such as these, we continue to invest in empowering young minds, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities that enable communities to thrive. #BPCL #CSR #SpaceLabs #STEMEducation #TribalEmpowerment #Education #Innovation #SpaceTechnology #FutureReadyIndia #EnergisingLives #NationBuilding Hardeep Singh Puri Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India Neeraj Mittal MINISTRY OF TRIBAL AFFAIRS GOVERNMENT OF INDIA
