Over the past 10 years, Sanctuary Care has supported families at their most difficult moments. When illness, exhaustion, or crisis starts to overwhelm, timely support can make all the difference. Sometimes, this means a parent finally getting the rest they need after months of caregiving. At other times, it means a child having a safe place to stay while their family works through a period of uncertainty. Sanctuary Care, together with a dedicated network of Respite Carers and volunteers, provides flexible short-term respite care ranging from half-day sessions to three months. These timely periods of respite help prevent long-term disruptions for children.
