While half of leading-edge companies report significant ROI from AI, only 1 in 9 early-stage organizations can say the same. The gap is not about which models they chose. It is about what they built around them and the kinds of work they are using AI to do. A company onboards tens of thousands of new employees in a week. A bank cuts client onboarding from a week to hours. These are not productivity improvements. They are entirely new categories of work that were not feasible before. And the leading edge is managing agents differently. Rather than treating them as individual tools, the most mature organizations are formally onboarding agents with defined roles and permissions and managing them as a digital workforce. The full data and analysis are in chapter 2 of our State of AI in the Enterprise report. https://lnkd.in/gQb8i7Bx What is the most ambitious thing your organization has done with AI that would not have been possible a year ago? 👇
