Welcoming another abundant growing season at the BMC rooftop farms! 🌱 Over the past few months, farm managers have been raising seedlings in the greenhouse and prepping beds, setting the stage for warmer days ahead. And even with a stretch of chilly nights, the season is already off to a promising start with early harvests of spinach and chives coming in. As spring planting gets fully underway, the rooftop is coming to life once again. The season has also begun with the first volunteer groups from John Hancock and the MIT Farm Club, whose energy and support help make it all possible.
