🕰️ 130 years ago: A reason to celebrate. In 1896, Robert Bosch celebrated not only his company's 10th anniversary but also a special milestone: the completion of the 1,000th magneto ignition system. To mark the occasion, he invited his employees to take a free day for a company outing of a special kind. At the time, no one at the table knew that just one year later, the company would file a patent for a redesigned magneto ignition, laying the foundation for Bosch's global success.
