Learn more here: What is your favorite aspect of working at BorgWarner? I get to enjoy seeing a part or assembly that I have designed come to life. It is quite a rewarding process. What is your favorite activity outside of work? Working on and ‘resto-modding’ classic cars. Resto-modding is the art of mixing old and new technology to create the best of both worlds, matching classic styling with modern performance and reliability. For example, the 1979 MG BGT I built compromises of a limited slip differential from a Jaguar E-type, Transmission and engine from a Jaguar-S type, Rear Axle from a reliant Scimitar, Nissan 300zx Brake Callipers, Range Rover P38 Prop shaft and Triumph triple throttle bodies on 3d printer inlet manifolds I made myself. The car weighs less than 870kg, over 400kg lighter than the original cars weight. The weight reduction and modifications results in a 0-62mph time of around 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 148mph.
