Our first scientific study of the year at HQ is complete and we could not be more excited about the results! 🎉 We placed our weight-based monitoring system & a dual temperature probe on a retired tank and measured the alarm response time as the tank began to fail. We knew our system would pick it up sooner. We built the CryoScout™ because we knew there was a better way to monitor tanks. We knew from 80+ years of experience and other scientific studies published that a temperature probe simply does not give you enough time to save a failing tank. Previous to this test, we expected our system would pick up a tank failure about 18 hours ahead of a temperature probe. We were wrong. The CryoScout picked it up 84 hours sooner than the temperature probe. That’s 3.5 days. That’s the ability to be proactive vs. reactive when an alarm goes off.
