Within a few years, Boots libraries had expanded into around half of our stores - helping to make reading more accessible to communities across the UK. At their peak in 1938, books were being exchanged at a rate of 35 million a year. It's one of those stories that shows just how much the brand has evolved over time, and how Jesse Boot's vision on supporting communities carries through today!
