Dip nets, macroorganisms, and discovering the magic of our wetlands! 🌿 We had the best time at the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center for our Wetland Summer Naturalist morning. Young scientists dipped their nets and discovered the macroorganisms living in the Blanton Family Lagoon! We also had a hands-on look at how these incredible ecosystems act as a shield during hurricane season, tested out water filtration demonstrations, and built our own mini-wetland crafts to take home.
