MEMORIAL DAY — MAY 25, 2026 This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the lives of those who pledged to serve, protect, and defend our nation, even though it cost them everything. Each of these men and women embodied the qualities of duty, loyalty, honor, courage, commitment, and valor. The gift of their lives as our defenders and protectors has allowed the United States of America to not just endure but to flourish as a prosperous and generous republic. We enjoy our precious rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness precisely because of the ultimate price they each paid. For one quarter of a millennium, this vision of a government of the people, by the people, and for the people has been forged and passed from generation to generation.
