Hello, Moon. 👋🌕 Hello, Earth. 👋🌍 Humans are back in the Moon's neighborhood for the first time in more than 50 years, thanks to NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Artemis II mission. Commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, and mission specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen are aboard the Orion spacecraft and have flown around the far side of the Moon. On April 1, the #TeamBoeing-built Space Launch System rocket successfully lifted off from Kennedy Space Center, carrying the Artemis II crew out of Earth's atmosphere and toward the Moon. This is one more step in NASA's path to establishing a long-term lunar presence for science and exploration. 📹: NASA
