Ahead of International Women’s Day, GökyüzündeyİZ – Women in Aviation Platform – which means “We Are in the Sky” in Turkish, gathered 80 young women at Istanbul Technical University for an inspiring day of accelerated mentorship. Founded with the support of Boeing and visionary women leaders in the sector, the platform aims to increase women’s visibility, power and representation in aviation. From cockpits to control towers, from engineering labs to boardrooms, mentors shared real stories, real challenges and real inspiration. GökyüzündeyİZ will continue implementing mentorship programs and educational initiatives to strengthen women’s leadership across the aviation ecosystem, opening doors and amplifying the mark women leave in the sky.
