The Les Paul Recording Studio console wasn't bought off a shelf. Les built it himself alongside Rein Narma, the same mind behind the Fairchild compressor, at the exact moment that company was at its peak. The result is essentially a Fairchild tube console. Same tubes you'd find in a 660 or 670. Built like a tank and still running. Tom Camuso walked through it in this episode and the quality is hard to overstate for something built in that era. There's nothing else quite like it. Full episode at the link below 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dBCZwp_B
