One of the themes that consistently emerges on Boardsi Leadership Talks is the importance of self-awareness. During my conversation with Mike Ehrle, he shared a candid reflection about the start of his career: He began in finance. And quickly realized two things: He didn't enjoy it. He wasn't convinced it was where he could create the most value. That realization led him toward client-facing roles, business development, revenue growth, and eventually executive leadership. It's a reminder that career success isn't always about staying on the path you started. Often, it's about recognizing where your strengths, passions, and talents align. Many professionals stay in roles because they feel committed to a degree, title, or career track. The most successful leaders I've met are willing to make adjustments when they discover a better fit. The question isn't: What did you start doing? The question is: What are you uniquely positioned to excel at today? Sometimes the answer changes everything. #Leadership #CareerGrowth #ExecutiveLeadership #BusinessLeadership #Entrepreneurship #SalesLeadership #GoToMarket #LeadershipDevelopment #ProfessionalDevelopment #CEO #FounderJourney #SuccessMindset #BusinessStrategy #MikeEhrle #BoardsiLeadershipTalks #MartinRowinski
