“We are all immigrants. Or refugees, or migrants. All of us.” „We need the complete picture – that is the only way to find better and more human responses to migration and displacement.” ——————————————————— “We are all immigrants. Together with Richard Gere and international experts, participants discussed the causes of displacement and migration, the protection of human rights and the question of how sustainable political responses can be shaped. How do we talk about migration — and how do we create solutions that bring together human rights, international cooperation and reality on the ground? These questions were discussed at the Hertie School in Berlin, where representatives from politics, academia and civil society gathered for the launch of the “Joint Initiative on Migration” by the THE GERE FOUNDATION and the Centre for Fundamental Rights - Hertie School. 📸 Hertie School/ Sebastian Pfütze
