Jonah Bass, a junior at Stevens Institute of Technology is enjoying his Process Planning-Corrosion Co-op here at BMW MC. One of his favorite BMW core values is “Openness, which means we are open to change and new opportunities. Being that BMW is such a large company, I was unsure of how well my voice and ideas would be heard. However, as soon as I began work here at Plant Spartanburg, it became apparent to me that everyone is listened to and I realized the importance of not holding back thoughts or ideas." Jonah said, “There are opportunities for everyone here at Plant Spartanburg which is what makes it such a diverse place and great opportunity for interns of all backgrounds.” His favorite project thus far is a new fixture development for an upcoming new model launch. Jonah said, “Working in the manufacturing environment and seeing pre-launch designs become a reality is truly incredible. Working with the process planning team on this project has already taught me several valuable lessons as an engineer, such as design for repeatability and proper functionality while keeping the use and ergonomics of design in mind.” #shareyourpassion #bmwgroupcareers #studentjobs
