Last week we celebrated the BMIHMS Key Ceremony, a special tradition that marks the beginning of our students’ journey into the global hospitality industry. They become part of a community of more than 8,000 BMIHMS alumni working across hotels and hospitality businesses around the world. A special thank you to BMIHMS alumni Scott Bear, General Manager at Novotel Geelong, and Charles Young , General Manager at Pullman Penrith Hotel who joined the Key Ceremony in Melbourne and Sydney campuses respectively to share reflections from their careers in the hospitality industry. Scott encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, reminding them that there is no typical path to success, aligning yourself with people who represent your values and never to lose your voice. Charles reflected on how returning to campus felt like a full-circle moment, sharing how his BMIHMS qualification opened doors around the world and led him to exciting roles across multiple countries. A huge congratulations to all the students! Their journey begins now 🔑 Thanks to our BMIHMS team who also attended and celebrated with our students: Professor Simon Pawson (Ph.D.), Scott Richards, Petra Braat, Kritty Ghosh, Mia Bronotte, Marco Lee, Madeleine Hills, Zangi Dinh, Bhavik Jani, Rosalie Wong
