This Fourth of July, Blue Star Families celebrates alongside military families and communities across the country. In Florida, The Walt Disney Company welcomed 11 military and veteran families for an unforgettable day at EPCOT where they were featured on Good Morning America in recognition of their service before enjoying a patriotic flyover, VIP experiences, and more at The Most Magical Place on Earth. For 15 years, Disney has supported Blue Star Families. This year, in honor of America's 250th anniversary, Disney created even more meaningful moments for military families across the country — from Broadway and American Idol to movie screenings and Disney Parks to bringing Disney magic to military bases coast-to-coast.  From there, activities continue nationwide. In New York, our CEO Kathy Roth-Douquet was invited by the USO aboard the Intrepid Museum for the Parade of Sails. In Chicago, during an ARCA Menards Series NASCAR weekend, the Landon S. Huffman Racing team honored a military family's deployed Marine with his name and the Blue Star Families logo featured on the race car. In the National Capital Region, we joined partners at the National Archives and Capital Concerts for a special Independence Day celebration. As we look ahead to America’s 250th anniversary, these moments reflect what matters most: communities standing with military families.
