Meet Dr. Shade, Associate Veterinarian at Macungie Animal Hospital! Since joining Macungie in February of 2022, Dr. Shade is known for her compassion, service, and high-quality care. 🩺 💖 What do you love most about working at Macungie Animal Hospital? “The medicine we provide patients is high quality. The doctors are second to none, and we all collaborate and help each other regularly.” 🩺 What is your medical focus or passion? “My favorite cases are those that incorporate the care of elderly dogs, their arthritic issues, weight and muscle management, and the therapies that support them, including acupuncture, massage and laser therapy.” 🐾 What do you like best about the community you serve? “There is a veterinary technology and animal science program at a local technical school where I am a newly appointed board member. Impacting the next generation of those in the field, we advise and assist the program’s educators in making sound choices in regards to education guidelines, curriculum, and equipment used to improve the quality of the program. We get to be a link between classroom learning and real-world career interaction.” 🐶 Did you know…?
