That’s why BCBSA and several BCBS companies helped launch CivicaScript to provide lower-cost generics to consumers. CivicaScript’s 2025 Annual Savings Report highlights the impact of a transparent approach to prescription drug costs. Since the first product was launched in 2022, patients and payer members have saved nearly $44 million. This report marks continued momentum as our partnership expands a portfolio of lower-cost generic medicines and biosimilars to help improve affordability and access for the patients who need them most.
