The AI deal frenzy is creating new winners across Big Law's M&A market. Bloomberg Law's latest league tables show Gibson Dunn leading the rankings through the second quarter, advising on $501.7 billion in deal value. Sullivan & Cromwell LLP followed closely behind, with Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, and Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz rounding out the top five. Much of the movement reflects firms' roles on high-profile transactions involving AI leaders, including deals connected to xAI, SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
