On Tuesday night, we kicked off the AI & Cyber Security Hackathon with 50 participants ready to tackle some of the biggest cyber security challenges facing Western Australian Government agencies. Since then, teams have been hard at work developing solutions across areas including incident response, Essential Eight compliance, supplier risk, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and legacy technology modernisation. Over the past two days, participants have worked alongside mentors from government, cyber security, technology, and startup backgrounds to transform ideas into prototypes that could help make WA Government services more secure, resilient, and efficient. Tonight, those teams will take the stage to pitch their solutions to our judging panel for a chance to win a share of $2,000 in prize money. It's been incredible to see the creativity, collaboration, and technical talent on display. We can't wait to see what they present. A huge thank you to the WA Office of Digital Government, CyberWest Hub, our mentors, judges, and everyone who has contributed their time and expertise to make this event possible. Now, it's time to pitch. If you would like to join our pitch night and see what our teams have been building, sign up here - https://lnkd.in/g6A86Cm8
