We're proud to share that Helen Freris, BCA Vice President, recently spoke at the Civil Society Forum of the 19th Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (COSP19) at the United Nations. In her speech, Helen called on governments to strengthen their commitment to gender and disability inclusion. She spoke about the importance of accessible physical and digital infrastructure, meaningful access to services and creating the conditions for people with disability to participate fully in all aspects of life.
