Happy birthday, Stan Lathan! 🎂 Over 50 years building Black television, from Sesame Street, to Sanford and Son (where Redd Foxx demanded a Black director), to directing every episode of The Steve Harvey Show, to co-creating Def Comedy Jam, which launched Martin Lawrence, Chris Tucker, Bernie Mac, and Dave Chappelle. He's one Oscar away from an EGOT. And he's Sanaa Lathan's father, in 2022, they both earned Emmy nominations the same season. https://lnkd.in/e_wmANtQ
