The NWO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek) has awarded funding to six projects within the Open Technology Programme. One of these projects is led by researchers from our faculty, within the department of Architectural Engineering and Technology. In the project ‘Effective Chemical Barriers against Rising Damp (CHEMBARIDA)’, Barbara Lubelli acts as lead applicant, with Martin Tenpierik as one of the co-applicants. CHEMBARIDA addresses the growing problem of rising damp in buildings, threatening both the buildings and their inhabitants worldwide. The project aims to revolutionize rising damp management by harnessing cutting-edge technologies and developing and validating new testing protocols. 🔗 Read more about this project via de link in our comments
