Recap BK Health Week: Connecting Health and the Built Environment #Health and #wellbeing are closely linked to how cities, neighbourhoods, buildings and indoor environments are designed. Climate stress, environmental quality, mobility and social interaction both influence and are shaped by how people experience and navigate through space. BK Health Week at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment brought together researchers, educators, practitioners and students to explore how health and spatial design can better support each other through interdisciplinary research and design. Held from 21-23 April, the programme featured a dynamic mix of lunch lectures, activities, panel discussions and research presentations. Each day focused on a different scale of the built environment: city, neighbourhood and building.
