A few weeks ago, BKR Capital's Ebenezer Arthur joined an inspiring gathering to celebrate Inspirit Foundation and a remarkable milestone: a decade of making impact. Through its investments and support for media, the arts, and impact programs, Inspirit Foundation is helping build a more inclusive and pluralist Canada where communities across racial, social, and economic differences have the opportunity to thrive. This includes the pioneering of an exciting initiative within our BKR Catalyst Institute (more to come on that!). What made the event especially meaningful was the sense of shared purpose in the room. Across conversations with funders, founders, and ecosystem leaders, there was a collective recognition that long-term change is built through courage, collaboration, and a willingness to reimagine how capital can serve people and communities. A special shout out to Jory Cohen, whose work was instrumental to shape and advance this vision over the years. Congratulations on all that you’ve accomplished, and we wish you continued success as you begin an exciting new chapter with Silk Pin Capital. We are grateful to have been part of the celebration and to witness the leadership and intentionality that continues to push the sector forward. #BKRCapital #BKRCatalystInstitute #BKRCatalyst #VentureCapital #ImpactInvesting #InclusiveInnovation #SocialImpact #ImpactFunds #EcosystemBuilding #PurposeDrivenCapital #Founders #Collaboration #ImpactLeadership
