🎉 20 Years in the Game – 10 Years at ADX 🎉 (aka: Two decades of learning, leading, failing fast) Looking back, I realize I’ve spent 20 years building a career — and the last 10 of those with ADX, where I’ve truly found an environment that challenges and supports in equal measure. Some of my findings out the last 20 years: 💡 Lesson #1: Try new stuff. Then figure out what you definitely don’t want to do again. Every “nope” is still a valuable learning. Software development is great, but only if others are doing it 😁 🛠 Starting out in operations was the best foundation I could’ve asked for — it sharpened my eye for what actually works and gave me a practical compass for later leadership decisions and discussions at eye level. Big thanks to Hermann Dekena, Frank Bröer, Dennis Hannemann, Thomas Blick and Dirk Stahl. 🤝 I’ve also learned that external partners only bring their best when they understand the bigger picture — especially the purpose behind a customer’s needs. Without that, it’s just tasks and contracts. With it, it’s impact. Big thanks to Christian Tagwerker Arthur Daffner 🌱 I’ve always looked for a culture of growth — where people push each other to excel, but also pull each other up when things get messy. I’m lucky to have found that. Big thanks to Oliver Riedl, Martin Merkle, Manuel Strack and Dr. Michael Knüver And what about leadership? Big thanks to Dustin Huptas Sven Wiedenhöfer and Alireza Sadeghi It’s not a static title — it’s ongoing work: 👂🏼 Learning 📚 Adapting 📦 Borrowing best practices 🧭 Choosing who you want to be 🔄 And maybe most importantly — creating space for others to make mistakes and grow Through all this, one belief has become my compass: 👉 Just do it. Fail fast. Adapt. Repeat. That’s where the real learning lives. Thanks to everyone who’s been part of this wild and rewarding ride so far — especially my teammates at ADX. Here’s to the next iteration. 🚀
