The US Treasury has sanctioned Gasabo Gold Refinery, its chairman Jean Malic Kalima, general manager Bosco Kayobotsi and three Rwandan mining companies over an alleged mineral smuggling network linked to the M23 rebel group in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
